You need an ETA for Guernsey if you have a Taiwanese passport
Visa options for Guernsey
Electronic travel authorization
Beginning April 9,2026, travelers visiting Guernsey need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to visit Guernsey for Tourism, Business, or Transit. Travelers can submit the eTA application online. Once the application is approved, travelers receive their eTA confirmation electronically. An eTA is electronically linked to a passport and valid for up to 2 years. If travelers receive a new passport, they must apply for a new eTA. Travelers visiting Guernsey for more than six months, for example to live, work or study in Guernsey, should check the source for more details. For travelers who are existing visa holders who live in Guernsey and use a physical immigration document to prove their rights, Guernsey is moving from physical immigration documents to eVisas. Travelers with existing visas should take action now to create a Guernsey Visas and Immigration account to access their eVisa. Visit the source for more details. Different requirements may apply to visitors traveling directly to Guernsey who do not first pass through the immigration control in the United Kingdom.
