Travellers need a visa to visit Laos for Business or Tourism for more than 14 days. Travellers do not need a visa if staying for 14 days or less. A Laos eVisa is the fastest and easiest way of obtaining a visa for Laos because travellers can submit their application and supporting documents online. Once the application is approved, travellers receive their eVisa confirmation electronically. A valid visa is required to board the flight. If the visa is expired or doesn’t match the traveller’s passport information, travellers will not be able to board their flight.

How long does it take for the Laotian eVisa to be approved?
Most applications are approved within 4 days. Governments do not guarantee processing times, so be sure to submit your application as early as possible.
