Electronic visitor visa
Travelers need a visa to visit Madagascar for Tourism for more than 15 days. Travelers do not need a visa if staying for 15 days or less but must pay a EUR 30 administrative fee on arrival. An eVisa is the fastest way to obtain a visa. Travelers can apply online. Once approved, travelers receive their eVisa confirmation electronically.

Visa on arrival is required for trips longer than 15 days
Travelers need a visa to visit Madagascar for Business or Tourism for more than 15 days. Travelers do not need a visa if staying for 15 days or less but must pay a EUR 30 administrative fee on arrival. Travelers visiting for more than 15 days can get a visa on arrival in Madagascar at their port of entry for durations of 30 to 60 days. Travelers can also apply for a visa at their nearest Madagascar consulate in advance of travel.
