The visa must be valid for at least 90 days from the date of application. Travelers with a valid residence permit from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, or a European Union member state can apply online for an eVisa. The residence permit must be valid for at least 180 days from the date of application. Otherwise, a paper or embassy visa is the only type of visa available to these travelers. The visa is typically a stamp or sticker added to the passport. Travelers must obtain this visa from a local embassy, consulate or visa center before traveling.
