Travellers who are Australian permanent residents, or cruise ship passengers, or transiting through Auckland International Airport on the way to or from Australia, are eligible for an Electronic Travel Authorization. Travellers who are flying into New Zealand to join a cruise must have a paper or embassy visa. Travellers applying for Group Transit Visas must continue using the paper visa application process.
