Electronic visitor visa is required for trips longer than 14 days
Travelers need a visa to visit Vietnam for Business or Tourism for more than 14 days. Travelers do not need a visa if staying for 14 days or less. An eVisa is the fastest and easiest way of obtaining a visa for Vietnam because travelers can submit their application and supporting documents online. Once the application is approved, travelers receive their eVisa confirmation electronically. Entry to Vietnam with an eVisa is supported at 13 airports, 16 land borders, and 13 seaports. A valid visa is required to board the flight if staying for more than 14 days. If the visa is expired or doesn’t match the traveler’s passport information, travelers will not be able to board their flight.
