Travellers visiting Egypt on a group tour with an authorized travel agent can obtain a visa on arrival in Egypt. Travellers with valid residence permits or valid and used visas issued by United States, United Kingdom, Schengen Area, Canada, New Zealand, Japan or Australia can get a visa on arrival in Egypt at the port of entry, such as an international airport or border crossing. Travellers visiting the Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba, Saint Catherine and Taba will be granted a permission stamp upon arrival for a maximum stay of 15 days. Travellers must have a confirmed hotel booking, return ticket and sufficient funds.
