Travelers need a visa to visit Vietnam for Business or Tourism for more than 45 days. Travelers do not need a visa if staying for 45 days or less. An eVisa is the fastest and easiest way of obtaining a visa for Vietnam because travelers can submit their application and supporting documents online. Once the application is approved, travelers receive their eVisa confirmation electronically. Entry to Vietnam with an eVisa is supported at 13 airports, 16 land borders, and 13 seaports. A valid visa is required to board the flight if staying for more than 45 days. If the visa is expired or doesn’t match the traveler’s passport information, travelers cannot board their flight. Travelers arriving in Pau Quoc (PQC) do not require a visa for 30 days, provided they meet the following conditions: -Travelers arrive and depart directly from Phu Quoc by air or sea; -Travelers have proof of onward ticket to a country outside Vietnam within 30 days of arrival; -Travelers are not prohibited from entering Vietnam.

How long does it take for the Vietnamese Single Entry eVisa to be approved?

Most applications are approved within 10 business days. Governments do not guarantee processing times, so be sure to submit your application as early as possible.
