Travelers need a visa to visit United States. Beginning June 9, 2025, the United States has suspended new visa issuance for most visa types, with limited exceptions. The suspension does not affect: -United States permanent residents (green card holders); -Travelers with valid visas issued before June 9, 2025; -Travelers in the United States on June 9, 2025; -Certain visa categories, including diplomatic, special immigrant, and immediate family visas.
